How To Exit Full Screen in Excel

Dear Computer Lady,

I clicked full screen in excel and lost my menu at the top of the screen. How can I get my menu back? (Has fonts, bold, etc.) listed.

Please help me. Glennis

Dear Glennis,

The full screen option does not appear to be included in Excel 2016 (which is my version) so I had to do a little bit of research to answer your question.

It appears there are two ways to get out of Full Screen in Excel.

First, you should be able to press the “Esc” key on your keyboard.

An alternate option would be to right-click on your excel spreadsheet, and click “Exit Full Screen” in the context menu that appears.

I hope this helps.

Elizabeth
