Footer Not Printing

Hi Computer Lady,

I have a Word document. I added a footer. I can see it (it is grey) when I’m editing the document. However, when I go to the file tab on the menu bar in order to print it, the footer does not show. When I print the doc, there is no footer on the page.

Thanks for any insight (perhaps an online tutorial is available for Windows 7?)

Dear Judi,

The only thing I can think of is perhaps the footer is outside of the printable area for your printer.

You can try an experiment to see if this is the case. Just move the footer up about an inch and try to print the page. If the footer prints, that was your problem.
